Find Your Home

In a competitive homebuyer’s market, it’s important that you know what you want in a home – and where you’re willing to be flexible. Our best advice? Work with an experienced Realtor® (like one of ours!) who knows the area, the builders, the market and more. Here are a few tips to help you get started:

  • Have enough bedrooms and bathrooms. Think about how you’ll use your space. For example, if you are working from home, you may need a home office. And if all the kids are getting ready for school at the same time, another bathroom will be important.

  • Think about entertaining. Love to host? A larger outdoor area with seating and a grill would be a bonus. Inside, consider picking a house with a large, open area. Also, determine whether having access to a community pool is important to you.

  • Consider a gated community. It can be a good fit for people who want an added level of security.

  • Learn about covenants and restrictions. They ensure consistency and help homes keep their value. Find out if your prospective neighborhood has them and make sure you’re comfortable with them before you buy.

  • Keep amenities in mind. Convenient amenities – like pools, parks, Chenal Country Club or The Promenade at Chenal – can be a major bonus.
